MOOR LIONZ
The Family Tree
Est. 2014

Gambia & Overseas projects
Moor Lionz organisation has taken on a charity which is named 2nd chance. This charity was founded in The Gambia and will be used to benefit African and Caribbean Islands. The organisation aim to use this charity to help the underprivileged with clothing, footwear, food items and toiletries and much more. Some of us in the UK take simple things for granted.
We have clothes and footwear that we don’t wear but yet refuse to throw out, we are urging people to empty out their wardrobes and footwear closets and give somebody a 2nd chance, who is less fortunate and in need. 2nd chance founded in December 2015 sent 3 barrels full of clothing and footwear and books to Gambia.
Moor Lionz the family tree also planned a residential to The Gambia, taking along people who have never been to The Gambia or any other Africa before.
This journey was put together as Moor Lionz felt the need to open up the eyes of people to see Africa for the truly beautiful place that it is and not the starving, poor country that the media portrays to everyone. This is the first of many charitable trips that collect barrels during the year and fill them up with as many clothing, footwear, pens, exercises books, toiletries and each year travel a different African or Caribbean island and distribute amongst our brothers and sisters there.
Additionally anyone who wishes to get involved are welcome, the More the better. To see the faces of the people light up when they are given a pair of shoes, a coat or a t-shirt is such a heart-warming feeling that words cannot express or to see a child so happy when given a sweet, pen or an exercise is such a fulfilling experience. A second chance is all some people need. Let’s spread the love from the UK to across the world. Love does not cost a thing and has no boundaries. Moor Love..
